Greenfield started a new era in style with a handful of new players at our new ground in Crawford.
The game started slowly with neither team creating much in what seemed to be a tight affair.
It was Chris Duffy who got the season underway after he closed down the Sony centrehalf and took the ball off him leaving him one on one with the keeper, he made no mistake sliding the ball home.
1-0 at half-time.
Greenfield came out a far better team in the second half with Mike Scully grabbing a goal shortly after the break with an assist for the impressive Duffy.
Just 5 minutes later and it was game over from another fine Greenfield move which saw Duffy again teeing up Graeme Mitchell to fire home into the top corner.
Duffy made way for a debut for Nico Richards on the right wing, just minutes later Captain Phil Burrows twisted awkwardly on his ankle and he was withdrawn for Matt Innes.
Scully added a fourth, and his second after being put through on goal by an excellent Tom Brown through ball and it was quite obvious that Sony were now hanging on for a repectable scoreline as possible.
Rob Ablewhite continued his excellent Pre-Season form and added the fifth from a Mitchell set up.
The lively Walt Lombe was introduced and he was on hand to set up Mike Scully to complete his hattrick.
Credit to the defence who were solid all game and Keith Dennett was in top form in goal dealing with anything Sony could throw at us.
MOM was awarded to Chris Duffy for his important opening goal and assists for the second and third goals before he was withdrawn to rest an injury.
Mike Scully with a hatrick on his debut too.
